GERAYO – has rolled out a new AI-powered document reading feature inside its transport management system (TMS) to help freight forwarders eliminate hours of manual data entry. Using OCR and the company’s AI agent Averroes, the tool can extract structured shipment information from complex and inconsistent documents (like air waybills) and automatically populate the correct fields in the TMS, even handling translations. This launch represents the first phase of GERAYO – ’ broader AI strategy, with follow-up tools in development that will analyse shipment data for compliance risks and offer AI-driven customer support.
